Paramount Pictures Names Courtney D. Armstrong as COO

Paramount Pictures announced Tuesday that Courtney D. Armstrong has been named chief operating officer for the studio. He will continue to report to Brian Robbins, Paramount Pictures’ president and CEO. In his new role, Armstrong will oversee all day-to-day operations across business affairs, legal and business development for the studio’s live action, animation and studio group divisions.

Ameriflight Names Patrick Fluegeman as New President and COO

Ameriflight, the nation’s largest Part 135 Cargo airline, announces the appointment of Patrick Fluegeman as President and Chief Operating Officer. Fluegeman will be responsible for planning and executing current and future business operation strategies. He will amplify Ameriflight’s vision as the unparalleled leader in scalable, outsourced aviation services to the regional express airfreight market.

Herbalife Nutrition Names Troy Hicks as New COO

Troy Hicks was appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Herbalife Nutrition, succeeding Frank Lamberti, the Company’s current Chief Operating Officer, who will concurrently move laterally to the role of Chief Commercial Officer, each effective May 31, 2024. Mr. Hicks has served as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Operations since April 2023.

Active Re Names Robert Ali as New COO

The board of directors of reinsurer Active Re has officially announced the promotion of Robert Ali to the role of chief operating officer. With an expansive career spanning over 15 years in the reinsurance market, Ali joined Active Re in 2019 as deputy chief operating officer.

New Castle Names Tom Nolan as New COO

Career hotelier Tom Nolan joined New Castle Hotels & Resorts, a hotel owner, operator and developer, as chief operating officer. Jeremy Buffam and Julian Buffam, partners in New Castle Hotels & Resorts, made the announcement. Most recently, Nolan was the managing director of Hyatt Hotels Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms, S.C. Names Eric Raza as New President and COO

Eric Raza, a trailblazer in artificial intelligence (AI) and data solutions, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Eric Raza as its new President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). This strategic move comes on the heels of the company’s recent establishment of its headquarters in Montreal, a global hub for AI innovation, and the addition of Nicholas Nadeau, P. Eng, Ph.D, as Chief Technology Officer.

NED Names Sheila Crowley as New COO

Crowley previously served as the Executive Vice President and COO at Global Communities and the Acting Director of the U.S. Peace Corps.

Caliber Names Ignacio Martinez as New COO

Lawrence University Names Alison Scott-Williams as New COO

Lawrence University announced it has hired Alison Scott-Williams as executive vice president and chief operating officer. She will start in June. Scott-Williams’ role is new to the university. She will oversee development, stewardship and operation of campus services, along with supporting programs to grow the campus and keep it financially healthy. Her position reports to university president Laurie A. Carter.

Mercy Hospital Fort Smith Names Jason Demke as New COO

Mercy Hospital Fort Smith announced that Jason Demke has joined the staff as the new chief operating officer. Demke replaces Ryan Geib, who left Mercy Fort Smith to take the position of president of Mercy Southeast Communities in Missouri. Jason was COO for West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, Idaho, and was vice president of operations at Johnston-Willis Hospital in Richmond, Va., according to Mercy.

Dexian Names Tara Winn as New COO

Before joining Stevanato Group, he held key leadership positions at renowned organizations, including the Biological Chemotherapy Institute of Turin and Diasorin, an Italian multinational biotechnology company.

Stratasys Ltd. Names Amir Kleiner as New COO

The 12-year Stratasys veteran will lead the company’s Global Operations, MIS, and Quality team, while continuing to manage the Customer Success team. Bluewater Logistics Names Keith Stamey as New COO

Gulfstream Shippers Assn. and Bluewater Logistics Group has named Keith Stamey as its new chief operating officer. In addition, Scott Lombardo has been named vice president of solutions. Stamey, a 37-year veteran in transportation and logistics management, previously has held senior and executive leadership positions with companies including La-Z-Boy Case Goods, Watkins-Shepard Trucking, Freight Concepts Unlimited, Transportation Insight and Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams.
