Goldman Sachs Names Ericka Leslie as COO of Global Banking and Markets

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. tapped Ericka Leslie to be chief operating officer of its investment banking and trading unit as part of a shuffle kicked off by 27-year veteran Laurence Stein leaving.

AutoNation Names New COO

AutoNation, Inc. announced the appointment of Jeff Parent as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). With extensive experience in senior executive roles spanning sales, supply chain management, and business strategy, Parent brings a wealth of expertise to lead the company’s operational and strategic initiatives. As COO, Jeff Parent will play a pivotal role in AutoNation’s continuous efforts to drive growth, enhance operational efficiency, and provide exceptional customer experiences across its extensive network of locations.

CSX Hires Mike Cory as its New COO

CSX has named Mike Cory, CN’s former COO, as its new COO. Cory, who has more than 40 years of operational experience, joined CN in 1981 as a laborer working in the Canadian railroad’s Winnipeg, Manitoba, locomotive shop and held various positions of increasing responsibility in both operations and sales and marketing before becoming COO in 2016.

ComEd Appoints David Perez as New COO

ComEd has announced that David R. Perez will take on the role of executive vice president and chief operating officer of ComEd, effective January 1, 2024. Perez will succeed Terence Donnelly who will retire at the end of the year. Perez currently serves as senior vice president of distribution operations. Before this role, Perez was the vice president of ComEd’s transmission and substation organization. In his new position as COO, Perez will be responsible for managing ComEd’s day-to-day operations and ensuring that the company provides the best possible service to its 9 million customers.

Omni Hotels & Resorts Names New COO

Dallas-based Omni Hotels & Resorts has appointed Vince Parrotta as chief operating officer, bringing with him more than 40 years of operations experience—most recently with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts— to this newly created position.

Sapienza, with experience in leadership in software, food service and senior living management, will lead OptimaEd’s school expansion initiatives, where, according to a statement, he “will manage daily operations and implement strategic decisions that benefit both the organization and its students.”

Keurig Dr Pepper Names New COO – Tim Cfer

Keurig Dr Pepper has appointed Tim Cofer as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO) as part of a planned transition which will see him become CEO in the second quarter of 2024. As COO, Cofer will report to current Chairman and CEO Bob Gamgort, who will assume the position of Executive Chairman after the planned leadership transition.
