Paycom Software, a provider of cloud-based human capital management software, has announced significant changes to its executive team, including the appointment of a new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Randy Peck, who has been with Paycom for two decades, will now serve as the COO of the company.
Nordstrom Names Alexis DePree as New COO
Nordstrom Inc. announced the appointment of Alexis DePree to the role of chief operating officer. DePree first joined Nordstrom in January 2020, as executive vice president and chief supply chain officer, prior to which she held senior leadership roles at Amazon and Target.
Wawa Names Justin Tichy as New COO
Convenience-store retailer Wawa has hired a new chief operating officer, Justin Tichy. Tichy has been chief operating officer at Petco since 2018. Before that, he was president of sales at insurance distribution company Confie and vice president of retail sales, among other roles, at electronics retailer Best Buy and affiliated companies.
Shake Shack Names Stephanie Sentell as New COO
Shake Shack announced the appointment of Stephanie Sentell as its new Chief Operations Officer effective July 1, 2024. Sentell brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles at Inspire Brands and Arby’s Restaurant Group, Inc.
Outpave Names Tom Payne as New COO
Outpave, a new fintech startup specializing in Financial Services and Spend Management for the construction and trades industries, announced the appointment of Tom Payne as Chief Operating Officer. Tom brings a wealth of experience from his distinguished 27-year career at SAP Concur where he started in consulting, then led global support before moving over to lead managed business services and growing that portfolio to more than $300 million in revenue as SVP.
BDO USA Names Mark Ellenbogen as New COO
Chicago-based IPA 100 firm BDO USA announces that COO Steve Ferrara will retire following a 33-year career with the firm. Assurance principal Mark Ellenbogen will succeed Ferrara as COO, effective July 1, 2024.
Brady Corporation Names Thomas DeBruine as New COO

Attain Names Ben Kartzman as New President and COO
Attain, the largest permission-based purchase data platform in the U.S., has hired industry veteran Ben Kartzman as its first President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Kartzman joins the company after nearly three years as COO at Mediaocean. He also served as President of Flashtalking, an ad server which was acquired by Mediaocean in 2021; Flashtalking had previously acquired Kartzman’s company, Spongecell, in 2018.
MrBeast Industries Names Jeffrey Hosenbold as New President and COO
MrBeast Industries, which was set up by popular YouTuber Jimmy Donaldson (MrBeast) in 2020 to manage his business interests, has tapped veteran venture capitalist Jeffrey Housenbold as president and COO.
LSEG Names Pascal Boillat as New COO
London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) has named seasoned industry figure Pascal Boillat as its new COO. Boillat will oversee the group’s global operations division, enhancing services for both LSEG employees and customers. He has also been appointed to the executive committee.
Providence Medical Group Names Carmen Green as New COO
Providence Medical Group has appointed a new chief operating officer (COO). Carmen Green has more than 20 years of healthcare experience, most recently working as the clinical operations director for Providence’s pediatrics division. She will become Providence’s new COO when current officer Kathy Tarcon retires this month.
UTA Names Bob Roback as New COO
The talent agency says that it has hired Bob Roback to serve as its COO, running business operations, growth, strategy, technology and other key areas of the firm. He will report to UTA CEO Jeremy Zimmer and president David Kramer, and will join the firm’s board of directors.
