Porsche Cars North America Names John Cappella as New COO

Porsche Cars North America has appointed John Cappella as executive vice president and COO effective July 2. In his new role, Cappella will lead operations at Porsche Cars North America and will report to President and CEO Timo Resch.

Calvin Klein Collections Names Leonardo Minerva as New COO

The PVH group continues to strengthen Calvin Klein, by currently assembling the management team for the brand’s premium line, Calvin Klein Collections. Leonardo Minerva has a wealth of experience in top-of-the-range fashion. He has worked since 2008 for Yves Saint Laurent, where he was recently still in charge of industrial strategy. Minerva formerly spent six years at Kering’s arch-rival LVMH, for whom he supervised Fendi’s logistics operations. Before that, he spent 13 years with Procter & Gamble as production, logistics and supply chain specialist.

Puma Names Andy Koehler as New COO

German sports apparel firm Puma said it has appointed Andy Koehler from crosstown rival Adidas as its new chief operating officer, completing a new line-up for top management.

Topgolf Names Erin Chamberlin as New COO

Modern golf entertainment leader Topgolf announced that Erin Chamberlin has been named its new Chief Operating Officer. Chamberlin joins the company from PENN Entertainment Inc., the largest provider of gaming entertainment in North America, where she served as a Senior Vice President of Regional Operations since 2019.

AXA XL Names Kathleen Ziegler as New COO

AXA XL is welcoming Kathleen Ziegler as its new Chief Operating Officer for its Americas’ insurance business. In her new role, Ms.  Ziegler will assume responsibility for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of AXA XL’s Americas Insurance operations, including leading its Workplace, Middle Office (Underwriting Operations), Reporting & Premium Operations and Underwriting Governance teams. She will also be responsible for leading successful transformation and technology initiatives across the region.  She will fill the role held by Jerome Itty, who is leaving his assignment with AXA XL in July to take an AXA Group assignment in Europe.

Galen Baggs brings with him over two decades of extensive experience in senior leadership roles across various industries, positioning him as a valuable asset to the CenterPoint team.

Fleming Insurance Holdings Names Michael Garceau as New COO

Fleming Insurance Holdings announced the appointment of Michael Garceau as the company’s new chief financial officer and chief operating officer. As per a news release, Fleming highlighted Garceau’s role as central to facilitating the company’s growth in technology and artificial intelligence.

Hometime Names Alvan Aiau Yong as New COO

Hometime stated the new chief operating officer will be “instrumental” in supporting its existing network of hosts and managing on-the-ground operations, such as cleaning and maintenance, and representing the short-term rental industry. Alvan Aiau Yong comes from the business PayCargo, where he held the role of Asia-Pacific general manager. Prior to that, he spent more than five years with Airbnb as the supply lead for Australia and New Zealand.

Bandwidth Names Devesh Agarwal as New COO

Bandwidth, a prepackaged software services company, has announced significant changes to its executive team, including the departure of its Chief Operating Officer, Anthony F. Bartolo, and the appointment of Devesh Agarwal as the Interim COO, effective July 1, 2024.

Madison Square Garden Sports Names Jamaal Lesan as New COO

Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. has appointed Jamaal Lesane as its new Chief Operating Officer. Lesane, who has been with MSG Sports for over 15 years, steps into the role after serving as Executive Vice President and General Counsel since March 2022. In his new position, Lesane will oversee business operations for MSG Sports’ professional franchises, which include the New York Knicks and New York Rangers. His responsibilities will encompass strategic planning, marketing, ticketing, and enhancing the in-game experience, as well as community and fan engagement initiatives.

Skipify Names Sam Shrauger as New COO

Skipify has appointed former Airbnb Payments chief Sam Shrauger to COO, marking a “pivotal moment” in the Californian paytech’s expansion plans.
