Microsoft Names Carolina Dybeck Happe as New COO

Microsoft has a new chief operating officer and executive vice president tasked with helping the vendor “drive continuous business process improvement across all our organizations and accelerate our company-wide AI transformation, increasing value to customers and partners.” Carolina Dybeck Happe–who served as chief financial officer and senior vice president of General Electric through the 130-plus-year-old company’s breakup into three separate businesses–takes on the newly created role at Microsoft.

New York Mets Name Samantha Engelhardt as New COO

The New York Mets recently announced that Samantha Engelhardt has been appointed as the organization’s Chief Operating Officer and a member of the executive leadership team. Engelhardt brings to the organization a breadth of knowledge in strategy and business operations from her previous roles at the National Basketball Association.

The Swiss yacht brokerage firm Ocean Independence has appointed André Mahr as their new Chief Operating Officer. New CCO Toby Maclaurin has already been at the company for 16 years, formerly serving as Sales & Charter Director across all 15 Ocean Independence offices.
