State of Operations Talent Study (2025)

The Operations Council is pleased to present the 2025 State of Operations Talent Study, which provides valuable insights into the current human resources landscape. As organizations strive to manage effectively in a post-pandemic environment, this study highlights key challenges including evolving hybrid work models, unpredictable economic and political environments, and rapidly changing technologies.

This year’s benchmark study identifies several trends, and provides data-backed insights to help operations executives and leaders navigate the current human resources landscape effectively.

All data included in this report was gathered via an anonymous and confidential survey, which included more than 250 participants, the majority chief operating officers (COOs), and other operations executives across 28 industry categories, all company sizes and North American geographies, per classification demographics.
